Anti-SRPK3 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com specifically detects SRPK3 (SRSF Protein Kinase 3), a tissue-restricted serine/arginine protein kinase that phosphorylates SR-family splicing factors. Raised against the human SRPK3 protein, the unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µl of stock solution and has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples.

SRPK3 expression is largely confined to skeletal muscle and testis, where the kinase supports proper splicing of muscle-specific transcripts and contributes to myogenic differentiation. Loss-of-function studies in mice link SRPK3 deficiency to a muscular dystrophy-like phenotype, making this reagent useful for laboratories investigating alternative splicing regulation, muscle development, and neuromuscular disease models.

Suggested Western blot dilutions range from 1:500 to 1:2000, and immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded sections is commonly performed at 1:100 to 1:500.
