Anti-SRI Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com specifically targets sorcin (SRI), a 22 kDa calcium-binding protein expressed across multiple tissue types. Sorcin modulates intracellular calcium homeostasis and has been investigated extensively in the context of multidrug resistance during cancer chemotherapy, as well as in cardiac excitation-contraction coupling. The reagent is supplied as 100 µl of affinity-purified antibody at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, with the unconjugated format allowing flexible downstream labeling. Validated applications include Western blot (WB) for detecting endogenous SRI levels in human, mouse, and rat samples, and immunohistochemistry (IHC) for visualizing sorcin distribution in fixed tissue sections.
