The SRGAP1 protein (SLIT-ROBO Rho GTPase Activating Protein 1) is a key regulator of cytoskeletal dynamics, acting as a GTPase-activating protein for Rac1 and integrating Slit-Robo signaling pathways that govern neuronal migration, axon guidance, and synaptic plasticity.

Produced by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent, this antibody targets SRGAP1 and has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications on human and mouse samples. The polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes, supporting reliable detection in studies of neurodevelopmental biology, inhibitory synapse formation, and Rho GTPase signaling cascades.

Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody. Store at -20°C, aliquot upon arrival, and protect from repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve activity. For research use only, in vitro applications include immunoblotting of cell lysates and tissue homogenates, as well as chromogenic or fluorescent staining of fixed brain or spinal cord sections.

Relevant research areas include autism spectrum disorder models, schizophrenia-associated gene investigations, and studies of Slit-Robo mediated axon repulsion during cortical lamination and dendritic spine maturation.
