Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets Sterol Regulatory Element-Binding Protein 1 (SREBP-1), a transcription factor encoded by the SREBF1 gene (also known as BHLHD1). The antibody is raised against a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of the human SREBP-1 protein and is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, ensuring selective recognition of endogenous SREBP-1 levels in validated assay formats. It is supplied at a 1 mg/mL concentration in a liquid formulation of PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide, and is offered here in a 50 µL size as an unconjugated preparation suitable for direct labelling workflows. Verified applications include Western Blotting (WB) and ELISA, and the antibody has been validated for reactivity against Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, making it well suited to cross-species studies of lipogenesis and cholesterol metabolism.
