Anti-SREBP-1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide derived from the human sterol regulatory element-binding protein 1 (SREBP-1), positioned around the non-phosphorylation site at serine 439. The unconjugated IgG is supplied as a 50 µL liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and is validated for use in Western blotting, immunohistochemistry and ELISA workflows with confirmed reactivity against human and rat samples. Endogenous SREBP-1 protein is reliably detected across these assays, making the antibody well suited to studies of lipid metabolism and transcriptional regulation. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve binding activity.
