Anti-SREBP-1 Antibody

From the Antibodies.com catalog, this polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide derived from human SREBP-1 (sterol regulatory element-binding protein 1), and it is supplied at 1 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. The unconjugated, affinity-purified IgG is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), with demonstrated reactivity against human and rat samples, making it suitable for lipid-metabolism and transcription-factor research. Each vial contains 50 µL of the liquid formulation, sufficient for routine immunoblotting and tissue-section staining workflows. For best results the antibody should be stored refrigerated (typically 2–8 °C for short term or aliquoted and frozen for longer term according to the supplier's recommendations) and protected from repeated freeze–thaw cycles. As a polyclonal reagent, it offers broader epitope coverage than a monoclonal, which is useful when probing for endogenous SREBP-1 levels or for detecting both precursor and processed forms of the protein in cell and tissue lysates.
