Anti-SRD5A1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the human SRD5A1 target, this polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes steroid 5α-reductase type 1, the microsomal NADPH-dependent enzyme that converts testosterone into the potent androgen dihydrotestosterone (DHT). SRD5A1 is expressed in liver, skin, brain, and several hormone-responsive tissues, where it contributes to androgen biosynthesis and is implicated in prostate biology, hepatic steroid handling, and dermatological conditions such as androgenetic alopecia.
