Anti-SR-B1 Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this unconjugated rabbit polyclonal primary antibody recognizes SR-B1 (Scavenger Receptor Class B Member 1), the high-affinity HDL receptor responsible for selective cellular uptake of cholesteryl esters in hepatocytes and steroidogenic tissues. Each vial contains 100 µl of reagent validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on mouse and rat samples, supporting detection of the receptor in liver, adrenal cortex, ovary, and testis preparations.

SR-B1 sits at the center of reverse cholesterol transport and is widely investigated in cardiovascular and metabolic research, including atherosclerosis models, hepatic lipid handling, bile acid metabolism, and steroid hormone biosynthesis. As an unconjugated reagent, the antibody can be paired with HRP-, biotin-, or fluorophore-labeled secondary antibodies of the user's choosing, giving flexibility across chromogenic western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows.
