SPON1 (Spondin 1, also known as F-spondin) is a secreted extracellular matrix glycoprotein first characterized for its role in neuronal development, axon pathfinding, and cell-matrix adhesion. Subsequent work has linked SPON1 expression to tumor microenvironment remodeling, with altered levels reported in colorectal and gastric carcinoma tissue. This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against SPON1 and validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples. Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum, the antibody is suitable for chromogenic IHC detection of endogenous F-spondin, immunoblotting of full-length and processed SPON1 bands, and immunoprecipitation workflows. Store at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect from light until first use.
