Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal reagent is a rabbit-derived affinity-purified antibody raised against a recombinant human SPINK1 immunogen and is designed to detect endogenous levels of the serine protease inhibitor Kazal-type 1, also known as pancreatic secretory trypsin inhibitor (PSTI) or tumor-associated trypsin inhibitor (TATI). The unconjugated antibody is supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL aliquot, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.4 with 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. Validated applications include Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), and reactivity has been confirmed against mouse samples. The host species is rabbit, the clonality is polyclonal, and the antibody is unconjugated, allowing flexible downstream labelling according to the user's detection chemistry. For handling, the product is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at -20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. As the reagent is affinity-purified against the SPINK1 immunogen, it provides a reliable tool for researchers investigating trypsin-inhibitory pathways, pancreatic biology, and tumour-associated protease regulation in both biochemical and tissue-based assays.
