The Spindlin-1 protein (SPIN1) is a histone reader that binds trimethylated histone H3 lysine 4 (H3K4me3) and contributes to cell cycle progression through the G1/S transition. This Antibodies.com polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated preparation in a 100 µL vial, suitable for western blot, immunohistochemistry on fixed tissue, immunofluorescence imaging, and ELISA workflows across human, mouse, and rat samples.
Spindlin-1 contains three tandem Tudor-like domains that mediate its recognition of H3K4me3, and elevated expression has been documented in ovarian and other tumor types. Reported research applications include studies of the Wnt signaling pathway, ribosome biogenesis, and meiotic progression in oocytes. The target migrates near 30 kDa, which is useful for interpreting western blot bands.
Storage guidance: refrigerate the vial for short-term use; aliquot to limit freeze-thaw cycles for longer-term storage. The antibody is for research use only and is not approved for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
