Anti-SPIN1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a research-grade primary antibody, this rabbit polyclonal reagent specifically targets SPIN1 (Spindlin-1), a chromatin-reader protein involved in ribosome biogenesis, gametogenesis and Wnt signalling. The immunogen used to raise the antibody is a recombinant human SPIN1 protein, and the immunoglobulin fraction was purified by affinity chromatography against that immunogen, yielding an IgG polyclonal preparation at 1.0 mg/mL. The product is supplied unconjugated in a 50 µL vial, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4, without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. It is validated by Antibodies.com for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), where it recognises the endogenous level of total SPIN1 protein, and it has been tested on human, mouse and rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies of spindlin-1 biology. The vial is shipped on cold packs at 4 °C; upon receipt the antibody should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve binding activity.
