Raised in rabbit against the SPIB transcription factor, this polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is intended for researchers working on ETS-family gene regulation in lymphocytes. SPIB (Spi-B) is a lymphoid-restricted transcription factor that controls B-cell receptor signaling, marginal zone B-cell development, and plasmacytoid dendritic cell function, and the reagent is commonly referenced in studies of germinal centre biology and B-cell lymphoma classification.
The antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a preservative system, and ships as a 100 µl vial. It has been validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples, and is provided unconjugated so that laboratories can pair it with their own secondary reagents and detection chemistries.
