The polyclonal antibody targets SPDYA (Speedy/RINGO cell cycle regulator family member A), a regulator that activates CDK1 and CDK2 to promote the G1/S transition and drive oocyte meiotic maturation. Raised in rabbit and supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, this reagent from Antibodies.com is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples.
Researchers investigating germ cell development, DNA damage signaling, and aberrant proliferation in cancer models commonly use SPDYA-targeting antibodies to assess endogenous protein levels across lysates and fixed tissue sections. The 100 µl volume at 1 mg/ml provides working dilution flexibility for membrane-based and slide-based assays, and the PBS formulation with sodium azide is compatible with standard chromogenic and fluorescent detection chemistries.
