Anti-SP-B Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com as a rabbit polyclonal reagent, this Anti-SP-B Antibody (catalog A40704, 50 µl size) is validated for Western blot (WB) and ELISA applications and reacts with human samples. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, namely a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human SP-B (Surfactant Protein B), and is provided in liquid form at a concentration of 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative. It is unconjugated, of the IgG isotype, and detects endogenous levels of SP-B protein, making it suitable for studies of pulmonary surfactant biology. Each vial is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt the reagent should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
