Polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com raised in Rabbit against the SOX9 transcription factor, selectively recognizing the phosphorylated serine 181 (S181) residue. SOX9 governs chondrocyte differentiation, cartilage matrix gene expression, and early gonadal development, with S181 phosphorylation influencing nuclear localization and transactivation potential.

The reagent is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (approximately pH 7.2) with 0.05% sodium azide as a microbial preservative, packaged as a 100 µl vial. Clonality is polyclonal, and the antibody is validated for reactivity with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples in western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows.

Typical applications include western blot detection of phospho-SOX9 in cell and tissue lysates, immunohistochemistry on fixed tissue sections, and complementary immunoblotting alongside total SOX9 antibodies to dissect phosphorylation-dependent signaling in cartilage biology, developmental studies, and tumor research contexts.

Store refrigerated in the original vial, protect from light, and aliquot if extended storage is needed to limit freeze-thaw cycles. The 100 µl format supports multiple staining and blotting experiments.
