Anti-SOS1 Antibody

A polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com raised in rabbit and directed against the SOS1 target. The reagent is unconjugated, of the IgG isotype, and reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. It is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and has been affinity purified. The reported molecular weight is 175 kDa / 200 kDa.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1034–1333 of human SOS1 (NP_005624.2), and concentration is lot specific. The recommended application is Western blot at 1:500–1:2,000. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.

Validation includes a Western blot performed at 1:1,000 dilution on extracts of various cell lines, with lysates loaded at 25 µg per lane. The secondary antibody was Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) at 1:10,000, blocking was with 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST, and detection was performed with an ECL Basic Kit (exposure time: 90 s).
