Anti-SOD2 Antibody

SOD2 (Superoxide Dismutase 2, also called MnSOD) is a manganese-dependent enzyme localized to the mitochondrial matrix, where it catalyzes the conversion of superoxide radicals into hydrogen peroxide and molecular oxygen. Because oxidative stress and mitochondrial dysfunction are central features of neurodegeneration, ischemia-reperfusion injury, cardiac remodeling, aging, and tumor metabolism, this antibody is widely used in studies of redox biology, inflammatory signaling, and disease-model tissues.

The product is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in PBS containing 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% Glycerol, and is unconjugated to allow flexible downstream labeling.
