This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets Sorting Nexin 3 (SNX3), a PX-domain-containing retromer-associated protein that mediates endosome-to-Golgi cargo retrieval and regulates the trafficking of Wntless and other transmembrane cargoes. The antibody is raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated liquid stock at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, shipped in a 100 µL vial suitable for multiple immunoblotting and immunohistochemistry experiments.

Validated applications include Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human, mouse, and rat samples. Researchers studying endosomal sorting, retromer-mediated transport, PI3P binding, and receptor recycling use this reagent to localize SNX3 in tissue sections and to detect endogenous protein levels in cell lysates. The polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes across the SNX3 sequence, useful when monoclonal reagents give weak or variable signal in certain preparations.

For handling, store the vial at -20 °C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light; the 50% glycerol cryoprotectant helps preserve activity at -20 °C. Each batch is quality controlled, and the buffer composition (PBS with 0.1% sodium azide) is compatible with standard HRP- and fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies used in WB and IHC workflows. Researchers should aliquot upon first thaw to avoid repeated cycles, and the reagent remains stable through several freeze-thaw events when handled this way.
