Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified as an unconjugated IgG polyclonal preparation, this primary reagent targets the SNW domain-containing protein 1 (SNW1), also known as SKIP, NCoA-62, or PRPF45 — a nuclear transcriptional co-activator and splicing factor. The Antibodies.com antibody is supplied as a 200 µl liquid aliquot in a vial and is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows on human and mouse samples, where it is expected to detect the full-length protein at approximately 61 kDa.

Because SNW1 sits at the intersection of vitamin D receptor (VDR) signaling, the Notch pathway, and the spliceosomal B/Bact/C/P complexes, the reagent is used to probe nuclear receptor co-regulation, spliceosome assembly, and transcription-coupled RNA processing in HeLa nuclear extracts and other cell lysates. As an unconjugated IgG, it is compatible with standard anti-rabbit secondary conjugates (HRP, fluorophores, biotin) and with custom direct-labeling chemistries for tailored detection.

For handling, the antibody should be kept cold and protected from light: for short-term use, store at 4 °C; for longer storage, aliquot and freeze at -20 °C to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve activity. Polyclonal recognition of multiple SNW1 epitopes supports detection of the full-length protein and relevant isoforms in whole-cell lysates, nuclear extracts, and fixed-cell preparations.
