Anti-SNUPN Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com that recognizes human SNUPN (snurportin 1), a nuclear import adaptor. SNUPN binds the hypermethylated m3G cap of spliceosomal U snRNPs and couples them to karyopherin beta 1 (importin beta) for translocation through the nuclear pore complex, making this antibody useful for studies of snRNP biogenesis, spliceosome assembly, and pre-mRNA splicing pathways.

This unconjugated IgG antibody is supplied in a 200 µl vial and is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous human SNUPN. Because it is polyclonal, the reagent recognizes multiple epitopes of the target, which is helpful when a robust signal across denatured lysate samples is preferred over a single-epitope monoclonal.
