From Antibodies.com, this Rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises SNRPE (also referred to as Sm-E), an 11 kDa protein. The unconjugated IgG reagent is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and is purified by affinity chromatography. It is raised against a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1–92 of human SNRPE (NP_003085.1).

The antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC). Recommended starting dilutions are WB 1:500–1:2,000 and IHC 1:50–1:200. For IHC on paraffin-embedded sections, high-pressure antigen retrieval with 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) is recommended prior to staining. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.

Validation data comprise three scientific images. A representative Western blot shows extracts of various cell lines probed at 1:1,000 dilution, with a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) secondary used at 1:10,000 and lysates loaded at 25µg per lane in 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST, detected with an ECL Basic Kit (60s exposure). IHC images demonstrate staining of paraffin-embedded rat ovary and human thyroid cancer at 1:50 dilution. The reagent is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
