Anti-SNRPE Antibody

Targeting the Small Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein Polypeptide E (SmE), this rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is a reagent for studying spliceosome assembly and pre-mRNA splicing in human, mouse, and rat samples. SmE is one of the seven Sm proteins that form the heptameric ring around the U-rich region of U1, U2, U4/U6, and U5 snRNAs, and it works together with the SMN complex during snRNP biogenesis in the cytoplasm before maturing in Cajal bodies.

The unconjugated reagent is supplied as a 100 µl volume and has been validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence detection. These applications support investigations of snRNP distribution, spliceosomal integrity under stress or knockdown conditions, and the visualization of nuclear substructures including nuclear speckles and Cajal bodies where SNRPE concentrates.
