A rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com, raised against alpha-synuclein phosphorylated at Tyr136. The unconjugated reagent is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal, and has been affinity purified.
It was generated using a synthetic phosphorylated peptide around Y136 of human alpha-Synuclein (NP_000336.1), with the core immunogen sequence QDYEP. The antibody is validated for Western blotting and ICC/IF applications and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. Recommended dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for WB and 1:100–1:200 for ICC/IF, with the reported target molecular weight of 18 kDa. Concentration is lot specific.
The reagent is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
