Alpha-synuclein phosphorylated at tyrosine 133 (phospho-Y133) is a post-translational state studied for its role in synaptic vesicle trafficking and in the Lewy-body pathology of Parkinson's disease. The Antibodies.com reagent is a rabbit polyclonal IgG raised against this site-specific phospho-epitope and is supplied unconjugated in a 50 µl vial.

Validated for western blot and immunofluorescence on human, mouse, and rat samples, the antibody is marketed as identical to the Abcam reference reagent ab194910, giving laboratories a flexible sourcing option for SNCA phosphorylation studies. It is paired in routine use with standard HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies.

Recommended handling: for western blot, resolve denatured lysates by SDS-PAGE and probe under standard phospho-antibody conditions; for immunofluorescence, apply to fixed cells or brain tissue sections to localize phospho-Y133 SNCA at synaptic and cytoplasmic sites. Store the vial frozen at -20°C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect the reagent from light during use.
