Alpha-synuclein phosphorylated at tyrosine 133 is a post-translationally modified form of the SNCA protein that researchers study in the context of Lewy body pathology and Parkinson's disease models. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against that specific phospho-epitope and is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows. Supplied as a 200 µl liquid aliquot, the reagent binds human, mouse, and rat alpha-synuclein carrying the Y133 phosphate, enabling detection of phosphorylated species in cell and tissue lysates by WB and visualization of subcellular distribution by IF. The antibody can be paired with secondary reagents for immunoprecipitation and immunostaining and is intended for research use only. For handling, store frozen in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve phospho-epitope reactivity across experiments.
