From Antibodies.com's Primary Antibodies range, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against alpha-synuclein (SNCA) and supplied as a liquid preparation for use in western blot and immunofluorescence workflows. The unconjugated IgG reagent has been validated in WB and ICC/IF and reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing amino acids 59-140 of human alpha-synuclein (NP_000336.1), with the sequence TKEQVTNVGGAVVTGVTAVAQKTVEGAGSIAAATGFVKKDQLGKNEEGAPQEGILEDMPVDPDNEAYEMPSEEGYQDYEPEA. The antibody is affinity purified and the target protein has a reported molecular weight of 18 kDa. The reagent is formulated in phosphate buffered saline at pH 7.3, with 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, supplied at a lot-specific concentration. Recommended dilutions are WB at 1:500-1:1,000 and ICC/IF at 1:50-1:200.
