Anti-SNAI2 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the C-terminal region of human SNAI2 (also known as SLUG), this polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com detects the zinc-finger transcriptional repressor that drives epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT). The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, a cryoprotectant mix that supports storage at -20 °C with minimal freeze-thaw loss across repeated experiments.

SNAI2 sits at the centre of EMT programs that suppress E-cadherin, reorganize the cytoskeleton, and promote cell migration, so researchers rely on this reagent to chart those transitions in breast carcinoma, melanoma, and fibrosis models. Validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human, mouse, and rat samples, the antibody resolves the approximately 30 kDa SNAI2 band in lysates and gives nuclear staining consistent with the protein's known role as a chromatin-associated transcription factor.
