Anti-SNAI 1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against SNAI 1 (Snail family transcriptional repressor 1) and is intended for the selective detection of endogenous SNAI 1 protein in a range of sample types. The antibody is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at a concentration of 1 mg/ml, prepared in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and is unconjugated, allowing direct use with standard secondary detection chemistries. It is of the IgG isotype and was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen — a synthetic peptide derived from the human SNAI 1 sequence surrounding the non-phosphorylation site of serine 246. Validated applications include Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF) and ELISA, and the antibody has been confirmed to react with Human, Mouse and Monkey samples. For continuous use, the product should be stored at –20 °C, where it remains stable for up to one year. With its combination of broad validated applications, polyclonal coverage of multiple epitopes and triple-species reactivity, this reagent is well suited to studies exploring the role of SNAI 1 in epithelial–mesenchymal transition, developmental biology and cancer research.
