Anti-SMYD3 Antibody

Offered through Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against a recombinant human SMYD3 (SET and MYND domain-containing protein 3) immunogen and is designed to detect endogenous levels of total SMYD3. The unconjugated antibody is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl volume, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline pH 7.4 with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. It is validated for Western blotting at a working dilution of 1:500–1:2000 and for immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) at 1:50–1:100, with demonstrated cross-reactivity against human and mouse samples. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. As a research-use-only polyclonal host IgG raised in rabbit, this reagent is well suited to chromatin and transcriptional regulation studies investigating the histone-lysine N-methyltransferase activity of SMYD3 in both cell lysate and fixed-cell imaging workflows.
