Anti-SMYD2 (L148) Antibody

Manufactured and quality-controlled under the Antibodies.com brand, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against a synthetic peptide centred on the Leu148 (L148) residue of human SMYD2 (SET and MYND domain-containing protein 2), a lysine N-methyltransferase implicated in histone and non-histone methylation. Each vial contains 50 µL of antibody supplied at approximately 1 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS, approx. pH 7.2) with 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative, and is validated for Western blot (WB) detection of endogenous SMYD2 in human, mouse and rat samples. The reagent is provided unconjugated in the IgG fraction, leaving the choice of secondary detection — HRP, fluorophore or biotin — to the end user.
