Anti-SMO Antibody

The Smoothened (SMO) protein is a seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor that functions as the central signal transducer of the Hedgehog developmental pathway, relaying signals from the Patched receptor to downstream GLI transcription factors. Aberrant SMO activity is implicated in basal cell carcinoma, medulloblastoma, and other Hedgehog-driven cancers, making the receptor a target of clinical interest and a useful marker in oncology and developmental biology research.

This Antibodies.com reagent is a rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody raised against SMO and supplied as an unconjugated 100 µl liquid preparation.
