Anti-SMC1A (N-terminus) Antibody

A primary antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in mouse as a monoclonal antibody directed against the N-terminus of SMC1A. The reagent is of the IgG1 isotype and is supplied unconjugated, purified by antigen-affinity chromatography in a buffer containing 0.1 M Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 150 mM NaCl, 0.2% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.

The immunogen corresponds to a recombinant fragment of human SMC1A spanning amino acids 2–351 (N-terminus). The antibody is validated for Western blotting and immunohistochemistry in human samples, with 3 scientific validation images, and is also cited for use in flow cytometry. A recommended Western blotting dilution is 1:1000. The predicted molecular weight of the target is 150 kDa. The product is shipped at 4 °C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
