Anti-SMC 1 (phospho-S957) Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets SMC 1 phosphorylated at Serine 957. It was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human SMC 1 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 957, and specifically detects endogenous levels of Smc1 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser957. The unconjugated reagent is formulated at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% Glycerol.

The antibody has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, yielding a purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. The target protein runs at approximately 143 kDa. Validated in Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications, the antibody reacts with human samples.
