Anti-SMC 1 (phospho-S957) Antibody

Affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against SMC 1 when phosphorylated at Serine 957, supplied by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human SMC 1 surrounding the Ser957 phosphorylation site, and the reagent is reported to detect endogenous levels of SMC 1 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser957.

The antibody is unconjugated and is provided at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), and it reacts with Human and Mouse samples. The expected molecular weight of the target is approximately 143 kDa.

Purification was carried out from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, and the purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
