The SMARCD1 target, also called BAF60a, is a core subunit of the mammalian SWI/SNF ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling complex, where it contributes to nuclear receptor-mediated transcriptional regulation and chromatin accessibility. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent was raised against SMARCD1 and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples. Supplied as 100 µl of liquid at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the antibody is intended for research use only and should be stored at -20°C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles. The polyclonal format broadens epitope coverage across the BAF60a protein, which is useful when probing nuclear extracts or fixed tissue sections to track SWI/SNF complex recruitment to target loci. Antibodies.com provides the lot-specific data sheet and recommended working dilutions for each application.
