Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is designed to detect the SWI/SNF-related matrix-associated actin-dependent regulator of chromatin subfamily A containing DEAD/H box 1 (SMARCAD1) protein. The antibody is raised against a recombinant human SMARCAD1 immunogen and affinity-purified, yielding a polyclonal antiserum that recognizes the endogenous total SMARCAD1 protein. It is supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in an unconjugated format, presented in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, with 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as stabilizers. The 50 µL aliquot ships on cold gel packs at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival for long-term storage at −20 °C, with care taken to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Validated applications include Western Blotting (WB) and Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), making the reagent suitable for protein-level analysis across a range of sample types. According to the supplier's reactivity panel, the antiserum has been tested on human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting cross-species work in chromatin-remodeling studies, while the host species is rabbit (IgG isotype) and the clonality is polyclonal. Combined with the unconjugated format, this offers flexibility for researchers wishing to attach their own reporter enzymes or fluorophores. For research use only; not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
