Anti-SMARCAD1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit as an unconjugated polyclonal reagent, this SMARCAD1 antibody is supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl aliquot at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, ready for direct use. The target, SMARCAD1, is a SWI/SNF-family ATP-dependent chromatin remodeler that features a HARP (HEAT-repeat-associated chromo-like) domain, mobilizes nucleosomes at DNA double-strand break sites and stalled replication forks, and contributes to heterochromatin maintenance; germline mutations in SMARCAD1 cause adermatoglyphia in humans. The reagent is validated for Western blot, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation on human and mouse samples, supporting chromatin biology, DNA damage response, and replication stress workflows as well as co-immunoprecipitation of endogenous SMARCAD1-containing remodeling complexes.
