Anti-SMARCA4 (R1614) Antibody

Raised in rabbit against a region surrounding residue 1614 of human SMARCA4 (also known as BRG1), this unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. SMARCA4 is the catalytic ATPase subunit of the SWI/SNF chromatin-remodeling complex and serves as a transcriptional coactivator and tumor suppressor in epithelial, neural, and germ-line tissues, where loss-of-function mutations are linked to rhabdoid tumors, small-cell carcinoma of the ovary hypercalcemic type, and a subset of non-small-cell lung cancers.

Validated for immunohistochemistry, the reagent is packaged as a 50 µl vial and detects nuclear SMARCA4/BRG1 in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections. Cross-reactivity has been demonstrated with human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting comparative work across model organisms and archived clinical material.
