Anti-SMAD9 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the C-terminal region of human SMAD9 (also called SMAD8 or MADH6), this polyclonal IgG reagent binds an intracellular transcriptional modulator of the BMP/TGF-β superfamily. The target propagates signals from type I serine/threonine kinase receptors to the nucleus, where it partners with SMAD4 to drive gene programs linked to osteoblast differentiation, chondrogenesis, and vascular development.

From Antibodies.com, the antibody is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, packaged as a 100 µl vial. Recommended applications are Western blot and immunohistochemistry on Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. The 50% glycerol cryoprotectant allows storage at -20 °C between uses and tolerates repeated freeze-thaw cycles without appreciable loss of titer.
