Anti-SMAD9 Antibody

Antibodies.com provides a selection of rabbit polyclonal antibodies raised against SMAD9, each supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation that has been affinity-purified.

Reactivity and application profiles differ between the available reagents. Certain preparations are validated against human, mouse and rat samples and recommended for Western Blotting, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence, while another is configured for Western Blotting on human samples. Reported molecular weights for the target are in the range of 45–52 kDa.

Formulations also vary: one reagent is provided as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300; another at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol; and a third in 0.1 M Tris-buffered saline (pH 7.0) with 20% glycerol and 0.01% thimerosal added as a preservative. Recommended starting dilutions for IHC and ICC/IF are 1:50–1:200 where stated. All variants are shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted upon delivery for storage at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
