Anti-Smad7 Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this primary polyclonal reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against SMAD7 (also known as MADH7, MADH8, hSMAD7 or Mothers against decapentaplegic homolog 7), designed to detect endogenous levels of the total SMAD7 protein. The antibody is unconjugated and supplied as an antigen-affinity-purified liquid at 2.1 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.3, containing 0.05% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. It is raised in a rabbit host and validated for use in Western Blotting (WB), Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Flow Cytometry, showing reactivity with human, mouse and rat samples. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region derived from internal residues of human SMAD family member 7. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery, aliquots should be stored at -20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
