Anti-Smad7 Antibody

Smad7 (Mothers Against Decapentaplegic homolog 7) is an intracellular antagonist of TGF-beta signaling that blocks activation of receptor-regulated SMAD proteins such as Smad2 and Smad3. This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com, raised in rabbit hosts, recognizes endogenous Smad7 across human, mouse, and rat samples and is validated for Western blot detection in cell lysates and tissue homogenates.

The reagent is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody, sufficient for multiple western blot experiments probing Smad7-dependent signaling.
