Anti-Smad3 (phospho-T179) Antibody

Specificity data show that the antibody detects endogenous levels of Smad3 protein only when phosphorylated at Thr179. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Smad3 around the Threonine 179 phosphorylation site. The product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. It has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Observed molecular weight bands are approximately 48 and 55 kDa.
