Anti-SMAD3 (phospho T179) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this Rabbit polyclonal antibody targets SMAD3 phosphorylated at threonine 179 (phospho Thr179 / phospho T179). It is of the IgG isotype, raised in rabbit, unconjugated, and validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications on human, mouse, and rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphorylated peptide surrounding T179 of human Smad3, and the reactive immunogen sequence is PETPP. The antibody is affinity-purified and supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal. Lot-specific concentration values apply. The target protein has a molecular weight of approximately 48 kDa. Recommended starting dilutions are 1:500–1:2,000 for WB and 1:50–1:200 for IHC.
