Description
Rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com, raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in Human SMAD3 around the phosphorylation site of Ser423. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2, and is validated for Western Blot (WB) applications.
The antibody detects endogenous levels of SMAD3 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser423, and has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. It reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, and the target SMAD3 protein has a molecular weight of approximately 55 kDa.
