Anti-Smad3 (phospho-S213) Antibody

The antibody was generated using a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Smad3 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 213. It specifically detects endogenous levels of Smad3 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser213. The reagent was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. The target protein exhibits molecular weights of approximately 48 and 55 kDa.
