Anti-Smad3 (phospho-S204) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com raised against Smad3 phosphorylated at Serine 204. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Smad3 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 204, and the reagent is reported to detect endogenous levels of Smad3 only when phosphorylated at Ser204. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen.

Validated applications include Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and immunoprecipitation (IP). The antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples and is supplied unconjugated. The reported molecular weight of the target is approximately 48 and 55 kDa, and the purity is stated as >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

The product is formulated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.
