Anti-Smad2 (S2) Antibody

This primary antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against Smad2. It is unconjugated and validated for Western blot (WB) applications, with reactivity confirmed in human, mouse, and rat samples. The antibody was generated using a synthetic peptide corresponding to the N-terminal region of human Smad2 and is reported to detect endogenous levels of Smad2 protein.

The reagent is supplied as 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. The Smad2 target has a molecular weight of approximately 60 kDa. The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
