Anti-SMAD2 (phospho S467) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises Smad2 phosphorylated at serine 467 (phospho Ser467). The unconjugated IgG reagent is raised in rabbit and is supplied as a liquid formulation prepared in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal. It has been affinity purified and the reported molecular weight of the target is 60 kDa.

The antibody is validated for Western blot (WB). The recommended dilution range for WB is 1:500–1:1,000. According to the manufacturer's datasheet, reactivity is reported with human samples; Antibodies.com additionally lists reactivity with mouse and rat samples. The immunogen was a synthetic phosphorylated peptide surrounding S467 of human Smad2. Concentration is lot specific.
